  For the 2024 Joint Municipal Election on Saturday, May 4, 2024: 

  This is the first of two elections in May. We call on all Democrats to vote in the Joint Municipal Election (Early Voting begins Monday April 22 through Tuesday April 30, 2024). 

  the last day to vote is Saturday May 4, from 7am - 7pm  

  City Council, School District Trustees, Dallas County Central Appraisal District, and other positions are non-partisan. The ballot will NOT show the party affiliation. Watch our Endorsements page for primary voting history, to follow soon! 

  Bond and other ballot referenda are also on your ballot, depending on your voter registration address.

  Burgers On Us! Stonewall Democrats of Dallas help REGISTER VOTERS and remind folx about the Joint Election on Saturday May 4 and the Runoff Election on Tuesday, May 28!

  This is a fun way to interact with potential voters. 

  The first 10 qualified volunteers to sign up will receive either a burger or entree from Hunky’s Hamburgers, ON US! (deputy voter registrars welcome!)

  You’ll stroll the strip with a voter registration clipboard and push card, and help Dallas County voters check their current voter registration; if moved, update. NOTE:  April 29 is the deadline to update voter registration for the May 28 Runoff Election. Other important election dates are HERE

  For the 2024 Democratic Primary Runoff Election for Dallas County Sheriff on Tuesday, May 28, 2024: 

  Stonewall's endorsed candidate, former Sheriff Lupe Valdez, is in the Democratic Primary runoff against Marian Brown. We are calling on all Democrats* to vote in the runoff (Early Voting is ONLY on weekdays, the week before Memorial Day). 

  the last day to vote is Tuesday May 28 from 7am - 7pm  

  
  

  * if you did not vote at all in the original Primary election, all registered Dallas County voters who align as Democrats are eligible to vote in the Runoff! Make your voice heard!
