         State of Texas 88th Legislative Session (2023)

Stonewall Democrats of Dallas closely monitored the 140 pieces of anti-LGBTQ legislation authored down in Austin. Additionally, we supported the 142 pro-LGBTQ legislation that allies filed.

The filing period for the Texas 89th Legislative Session (2025) began on Monday November 11, 2024 and is underway through March, 2025. The session begins in January. As we receive information, calls to action will be issued.
